Bethann grew up in Florida but has lived in Alabama since 2005. She has three adult children and is Gigi to five grandkids ranging in age from 2-10. Bethann is a third grade teacher in St. Clair County and has a Master's degree in education and has taught for 26 years. Bethann enjoys exploring the area and creating memories with her grands. When she has a few minutes to herself, she loves searching for the next best place to enjoy a cup of coffee or two.

Elaine is originally from Mobile, Alabama, but Birmingham has always had a special place in her heart. Elaine and her husband Kyle got married in 2019 and welcomed their son David at the beginning of 2021. She is a proud graduate of The University of Alabama and holds a bachelor's degree in Public Relations. She is currently a stay-at-home-mom navigating the new waters of parenthood. Her favorite things include running, hiking, baking, and eating her way through Birmingham's amazing food scene!

Brittany and her kids reside in Pelham with her mother. She devotes her time to raising her children and bringing awareness to autism and special needs children. She enjoys reading and writing and all things outdoors.

After graduating from college, Julie worked for ten years as a paralegal and as a medical software programmer before becoming a SAHM to her and her husband's two children. Life is crazy for her these days, but a lot of Jesus and a little exercise and painting keeps her sane! Brittany was born and raised in Cahaba Heights. After four years at Auburn University and twelve years in North Alabama, she's raising her own family in Vestavia. Brittany is married to Brent, and they have three kids--one in high school, one in middle school, and one in elementary school. Kristina is an Alabama native who came to Birmingham in 2005 for college (has it really been 15 years?!). She had lived in Muscle Shoals her whole life up until that point. After graduating from UAB in 2009 with a degree in journalism and a minor in music, she married Paul in 2011.

Maurine was born and raised in Montgomery, but now calls the Cahaba Heights region of Vestavia Hills home. She met her husband, Jacob, while attending medical school at the University of South Alabama. She then completed an Ob Gyn residency in Gainesville, FL before returning to Birmingham. After practicing medicine full time for 12 years, she transitioned to flexible hours with a pregnancy resource center.

Nathelie is a Haitian-American transplant to Birmingham, by way of Louisville, KY. She and her husband moved to Birmingham in 2019. Nathelie is a mom to three adventurous kids, ages four, three, and three months. In her spare time she is an active member of the Lambda Zeta Zeta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc., an author, and a business owner; living her life in balance.

A Birmingham native raised in the small town of Alabaster, Tameka is a family oriented woman with a servant heart. She attended Jefferson State community college where she majored in Early Childhood Development. She is a mentor, advocate for youth and enjoys serving her church and community as children’s director and a substitute teacher for Alabaster City schools while being a SAHM. She has a passion for helping others but her biggest and best blessings are her husband and their six children, three boys and three girls, ages 24, 19, 18, 11, 7, and 5. Tameka is a lover of fashion and can be found modeling in her free time. She also enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, writing, music, and coffee.

Although teaching was Alex's original career path, her passion has been and will always be anything in photography or videography. She knew that she always loved film making, but being able to capture photographic moments and memories became yet another life changing event. With a renewed faith in life, a growing family, a camera career, and a love for traveling that only grows day by day, she still loves to call Birmingham, Alabama her home.

Moving back to Birmingham from the DC area, Paulina fell in love with her roots all over again. Paulina has a bachelors in developmental psychology and with that worked children with disabilities. Paulina is also a first time mom (newlywed too!) and is enjoying the journey with her newborn. Paulina speaks Spanish and has traveled all over the world as well! She is excited to join the Birmingham Mom Collective and is already working on content to publish.

Kirsten Smith resides in Trussville, Alabama with her husband, Julian, and their three children: Channing, Landon, and Sanaa. She works in healthcare at a local hospital and earned her degree in Health Information Management from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2010. Outside of her professional career, Kirsten enjoys fitness, cooking, and supporting her children in their various activities. Rebekah has a Master's Degree in Special Education. She currently teaches 5th grade special education in the Jefferson County School District. When she's not in the classroom, you'll find her wining and dining at the newest Birmingham restaurants, coffee shops, and cocktail bars and checking out all of the events Birmingham has to offer. Follow her on her social media accounts @bekafrombhm. Rebekah and her husband (also a teacher!) have been married for 15 years and have a 12 year old daughter who is the light of their lives.

New to Birmingham, Natalie is married to her college sweetheart, Jon, and together they’re raising six amazing kids. She studied Communications at Oral Roberts University and has worn many hats in the nonprofit, church, and business world. These days, most of her time is spent juggling sports practices, laundry piles, and grocery runs for her crew of eight. When she manages to sneak in a moment for herself, you’ll find her lacing up for a long run, savoring a hot cup of coffee before it cools, or discovering new restaurants with her husband on date night.

Susan grew up in Tuscaloosa, graduated from Auburn University and is a freelance graphic designer. She lives in Hoover with her husband, son and Golden Retriever. She enjoys watching her son play sports and cheering on the Auburn Tigers.
