Brittany was born and raised in Cahaba Heights. After four years at Auburn University and twelve years in North Alabama, she's raising her own family in Vestavia. Brittany is married to Brent, and they have three kids--one in high school, one in middle school, and one in elementary school. Emily grew up on a red dirt road in the sweetest small town in West Alabama, but she always dreamed of the big city life. She and her husband moved to the Birmingham area in 2017 and now call Bluff Park in Hoover home. They have a 7-year-old daughter and a 4-year-old son. Emily taught elementary school for 6 years before taking a break to fulfill her dream of being a stay-at-home-mom. With her youngest officially starting “big school,” she’s closing the door to a beautiful, glorious SAHM chapter and tiptoeing back into the workforce.

Christina currently resides in Shelby County, Alabama and is a true Birmingham native at heart. Her background is deeply rooted in education. After welcoming her second child, she made the exciting transition from the classroom into real estate. As a Realtor for nearly two years, she still gets to do what she loves most every day: educate and guide people through one of the biggest financial decisions of their lives. Christina is extremely grateful for the opportunity to write alongside these wonderful moms.

Kristina is an Alabama native who came to Birmingham in 2005 for college (has it really been 15 years?!). She had lived in Muscle Shoals her whole life up until that point. After graduating from UAB in 2009 with a degree in journalism and a minor in music, she married Paul in 2011.

Elaine is originally from Mobile, Alabama, but Birmingham has always had a special place in her heart. Elaine and her husband Kyle got married in 2019 and welcomed their son David at the beginning of 2021. She is a proud graduate of The University of Alabama and holds a bachelor's degree in Public Relations. She is currently a stay-at-home-mom navigating the new waters of parenthood. Her favorite things include running, hiking, baking, and eating her way through Birmingham's amazing food scene!

Margaret is a wife and mother of six children navigating the beautiful chaos of big family life! She was born and raised in Kentucky, where she attended college, and married her husband, Greg. They moved to Florida and Texas before landing in Birmingham in 2020. They enjoy living in Alabama with their children–three girls and three boys, ages 8 months to 14 years.

Maurine was born and raised in Montgomery, but now calls the Cahaba Heights region of Vestavia Hills home. She met her husband, Jacob, while attending medical school at the University of South Alabama. She then completed an Ob Gyn residency in Gainesville, FL before returning to Birmingham. After practicing medicine full time for 12 years, she transitioned to flexible hours with a pregnancy resource center.

A Birmingham native raised in the small town of Alabaster, Tameka is a family oriented woman with a servant heart. She attended Jefferson State community college where she majored in Early Childhood Development. She is a mentor, advocate for youth and enjoys serving her church and community as children’s director and a substitute teacher for Alabaster City schools while being a SAHM. She has a passion for helping others but her biggest and best blessings are her husband and their six children, three boys and three girls, ages 24, 19, 18, 11, 7, and 5. Tameka is a lover of fashion and can be found modeling in her free time. She also enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, writing, music, and coffee.

New to Birmingham, Natalie is married to her college sweetheart, Jon, and together they’re raising six amazing kids. She studied Communications at Oral Roberts University and has worn many hats in the nonprofit, church, and business world. These days, most of her time is spent juggling sports practices, laundry piles, and grocery runs for her crew of eight. When she manages to sneak in a moment for herself, you’ll find her lacing up for a long run, savoring a hot cup of coffee before it cools, or discovering new restaurants with her husband on date night.

Susan grew up in Tuscaloosa, graduated from Auburn University and is a freelance graphic designer. She lives in Hoover with her husband, son and Golden Retriever. She enjoys watching her son play sports and cheering on the Auburn Tigers.
