Elaine is originally from Mobile, Alabama, but Birmingham has always had a special place in her heart. Elaine and her husband Kyle got married in 2019 and welcomed their son David at the beginning of 2021. She is a proud graduate of The University of Alabama and holds a bachelor's degree in Public Relations. She is currently a stay-at-home-mom navigating the new waters of parenthood. Her favorite things include running, hiking, baking, and eating her way through Birmingham's amazing food scene!

After graduating from college, Julie worked for ten years as a paralegal and as a medical software programmer before becoming a SAHM to her and her husband's two children. Life is crazy for her these days, but a lot of Jesus and a little exercise and painting keeps her sane! Kristina is an Alabama native who came to Birmingham in 2005 for college (has it really been 15 years?!). She had lived in Muscle Shoals her whole life up until that point. After graduating from UAB in 2009 with a degree in journalism and a minor in music, she married Paul in 2011.

Nathelie is a Haitian-American transplant to Birmingham, by way of Louisville, KY. She and her husband moved to Birmingham in 2019. Nathelie is a mom to three adventurous kids, ages four, three, and three months. In her spare time she is an active member of the Lambda Zeta Zeta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc., an author, and a business owner; living her life in balance.

A Birmingham native raised in the small town of Alabaster, Tameka is a family oriented woman with a servant heart. She attended Jefferson State community college where she majored in Early Childhood Development. She is a mentor, advocate for youth and enjoys serving her church and community as children’s director and a substitute teacher for Alabaster City schools while being a SAHM. She has a passion for helping others but her biggest and best blessings are her husband and their six children, three boys and three girls, ages 24, 19, 18, 11, 7, and 5. Alyssa Silvester is a Type A Midwesterner who cares for her people through home cooked meals and words of affirmation. Ashley Rogers is a wife to Justin, and Mom to three busy kids. She is a southern blogger and a life-long farm girl who was raised in rural Shelby County, Alabama. Brittany was born and raised in Cahaba Heights. After four years at Auburn University and twelve years in North Alabama, she's raising her own family in Vestavia. Brittany is married to Brent, and they have three kids--one in high school, one in middle school, and one in elementary school. Audra Smith did not spend her childhood in Alabama, but got down here as fast as she could! Originally from Ohio, Audra met and married her husband (of nearly 6 years now), Brian, while in college, and they decided to move to Alabama on a whim a year after graduation, resulting in the best decision ever made. Audra is currently a stay at home mom who makes it a priority to cultivate side projects related to her passions. She enjoys connecting with other mamas, women, and anyone who needs someone to talk to. Chris is the center support that keeps the seesaw of her family balanced, leading a blended family of three young adults and enjoying an empty nest. Before the pandemic, most days were busy managing client relationships for a corporate event production company, but after six months of unemployment, she has become the parish administrator aka “the church lady” for her church. When she's not working, she loves reading a rich historical novel, volunteering with her sorority, and planning their next wine-tasting excursions.

Hannah Trammell was born and raised in Birmingham, and while college took her away to Kentucky, she eventually found her way back home to the magic city. She and her husband currently reside in Roebuck springs with their two boys Franklin (4yrs) and Amos Jon (17mo), and their sweet German shorthaired pointer Leita. They’re an outdoor loving family and some of their favorite memories together have been made hiking, camping taking cross country road trips, exploring national parks, and riding bikes. During the week Hannah is a Spanish interpreter at Children’s hospital.

Lane is passionate about helping parents navigate services for children who have special needs and she serves as an advocate on the Speech and Hearing Association of Alabama's board. When she's not working, Lane enjoys spending time outside with her kids and her husband. She also volunteers at Camp Winnataska because she never really outgrew her "camp kid" era. Lane loves connecting with other moms and is excited to share some of her passions with the Birmingham Mom Collective!

Maurine was born and raised in Montgomery, but now calls the Cahaba Heights region of Vestavia Hills home. She met her husband, Jacob, while attending medical school at the University of South Alabama. She then completed an Ob Gyn residency in Gainesville, FL before returning to Birmingham. After practicing medicine full time for 12 years, she transitioned to flexible hours with a pregnancy resource center.

Helen is proud wife to James, who she met while attending Auburn University. After graduating, their family moved to Birmingham and now have three amazing daughters, ages six, three, and one. Helen has worked as an Industrial Engineer for the United States Postal Service, and now manages a team of engineers in the Southeast. When she's not watching a soccer game or karate lesson, Helen can be found reading Jane Austen, jogging, or catching up on the Great British Baking Show.

Born and raised in Montgomery, Leigh has resided in Birmingham since 2010. She married Jay, a CPA, in 2011. Leigh attended Liberty University for a business degree and worked as an Executive Assistant until her first child was born. Her family currently lives in the Oak Mountain area and she is a SAHM to her three children, 2 boys and 1 girl. Along with being a wife and mom, Leigh enjoys trying new recipes, reading, spending time with family and friends, and exploring the city to discover new activities and food.

Michelle works a couple hours a week teaching preschool childcare for The Church at Brook Hills. She also teaches a ladies' Bible study class and assists in providing leadership to some ladies' multigenerational classes. She also volunteers with Leeds Elementary School and the Leeds High School marching band. In her spare time she likes to read and play around in the arts and crafts.

Kelsey lives in Hoover with her husband of seven years and rambunctious (but oh so sweet) two-year-old daughter. In her free time, Kelsey's hobbies include reading, writing, teaching, learning, and creating educational resources for parents and teachers. Educating parents on how to teach their little ones, specifically through play and hands-on learning, is a passion near and dear to Kelsey. Mary is a Northern girl living her best life in the South. She grew up in Pennsylvania and had the privilege of growing up in a suburb right outside of Philadelphia. Of course, she still loves cheering on Philadelphia sports (Fly Eagles Fly). In 2013 her family moved to Montgomery, Alabama so that her brother could pursue football. Montgomery is very special; it is where she met her husband, Chase. They met in a math class in high school (I know, how romantic). Now they have been married for almost 4 years and they have a sassy, Frozen 2 loving, 2-year-old (Claude).

Although teaching was Alex's original career path, her passion has been and will always be anything in photography or videography. She knew that she always loved film making, but being able to capture photographic moments and memories became yet another life changing event. With a renewed faith in life, a growing family, a camera career, and a love for traveling that only grows day by day, she still loves to call Birmingham, Alabama her home.

Ashley Wallis is an inspiring Army wife, devoted homeschool mom of four, and dynamic social media influencer and marriage podcaster. Hannah Todd is a busy mom of two energetic boys, ages 8 and 3, who keep her on her toes with farm chores, sports, hiking, and camping adventures. Alongside her husband, she manages a lively 10-acre ranch filled with horses and chickens, where the family enjoys the beauty of rural life. In the fall of 2023, Hannah embraced the role of homeschooling her sons, a journey she's passionate about. Professionally, Hannah is the recruiting director for a trucking company based in Hueytown, AL, and has been part of the trucking world since 2014. She joined the BMC team in August 2023.

Jessica has lived in Birmingham all of her life. Well actually a small town called Adger, Al (not many people know about it 😂). She currently lives in Pelham with her husband and daughter. She is a Learning Delivery Facilitator for State Farm where she trains all of the new hires who come to the billing department. Her husband’s name is Tyler Anderson, and he is a Young Adult Pastor. They have a 5 year old daughter name Skylar Rayne who just started Kindergarten this year and is also on the competition team with her dance studio. In her spare time you can find me journaling, dancing, or making TikToks with her sweet girl.

Tara, the founder of House Peace, has been helping families create calm, organized homes since 2013. Originally from Louisiana, she moved to Birmingham in 2009 after living all over the eastern half of the US. Now, she’s firmly planted and calls Birmingham home. With a background in psychology and counseling, Tara brings compassion and understanding to every space she transforms. As a wife and mom of three, she lives her mission daily, bringing peace and order into her own home and others.
