Old Baker Farm has many types of trees from Virginia Pines, to Cedars, to Fraser Firs to choose from and cut down. The tree farm will open the day after Thanksgiving and stay open through December 24th. Their hours are seven days a week from 9:00 a.m. until dark. Admission is free. They also have complimentary hot apple cider, candy canes, and a hayride through the Christmas trees!

Neely Farms is a family-owned and operated choose and cut Christmas tree farm that offers a festive experience for your whole family to enjoy. They open the day after Thanksgiving and their hours are Friday-Saturday from 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., Sunday from 1:00-5:00 p.m., and Thursday from 3:00-5:00 p.m. While you’re there, enjoy a cup of their complimentary hot cocoa or spiced tea and watch your kids ride in the barrel cart!

Poppy’s Christmas Trees has been serving the Birmingham area for 35 years with North Carolina trees. The opening day will be the day after Thanksgiving. They are open six days a week from 9:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m. On Sunday, they open at 10 a.m. If you’re ready to pick a tree here, then you better move quickly because they tend to sell out fast!

Since 1959, the Mountain Scouts Tree Sale has been selling Christmas trees to raise funds for Boy Scout Troops in the over the mountain area. Volunteers, Scouts, and their parents run the Christmas tree lots located in Vestavia, Hoover, and Homewood.
