Make plans to attend the annual Community Caroling and Tree Lighting Event on the historical mall in Trussville on Sunday, November 26, 4:30-6pm. Christmas in the Park is a walkable Christmas Wonderland in Old Mill Square Park from December 1, 2023 to January 5, 2024. Businesses or Groups can sponsor and decorate a 6 – 7 foot live tree that will remain in the park throughout the Christmas season. Each Friday night in December the City of Columbiana will turn Old Mill Square Park into a snowy wonderland with the help of snow machines placed near the fountain and special activities in the Park and on Main Street throughout the season.

Embrace the magic of the season at Friday Flurries on December 1st and 15th from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in Saks Plaza, adjacent to Santa's Workshop. Meet Elsa and Olaf, indulge in your favorite Frozen sing-along songs, have your face painted, capture moments in front of the enchanting "Let It Snow" sign with falling snow, and explore various vendors for a festive experience. Join us for an evening of winter wonder and joyful festivities!

The annual Holiday Artist Market is back on Saturday, December 2nd in the Shelby County Arts Center! At the Artist Market you will find a variety of fine art and crafts created by local artists and makers. Get everything from doorhangers to paintings, pottery to jewelry and much much more! This year the Holiday Artist Market will feature artists in the Grande Hall and the SCAC EBSCO Fine Art Gallery. Please join us for this fun art market! Free admission!

You'll get to create a delicious gingerbread house that will surely become a new holiday tradition. The cost of the workshop is $40 and includes all the supplies you'll need. Plus, you'll get to take your beautiful creation home to share with the rest of your family!

Featuring approximately 3,000 square feet of ice-skating area, up to 85 skaters per hour over the age of 3 can show off their skills with a $12 admission price, which includes specially designed skates. The synthetic rink allows skaters to experience the look and feel of ice skating in warmer climates. Skate helpers will be available for an additional charge. With food and beverage trucks, crafters, and other vendors on site daily, visitors can come early or stay after their skate time to get the whole experience. Visitors can hit the ice and warm up with hot cocoa or a relaxing Christmas cocktail under the Alabama sky.  Visitors can also capture special memories at the Polar Bear Club, featuring life-sized polar bear statues and other Instagram-worthy props. Christmas in the Park is a walkable Christmas Wonderland in Old Mill Square Park from December 1, 2023 to January 5, 2024. Businesses or Groups can sponsor and decorate a 6 – 7 foot live tree that will remain in the park throughout the Christmas season.
