Deck the Heights :: Your New Favorite Holiday Tradition

deck the heightsMy family loves the holiday season. Spending time with loved ones, eating yummy food, finding the perfect gifts for each other, listening to holiday music–what’s not to love? One of our favorite traditions has all of these things and more! Every year we all look forward to Deck the Heights in Cahaba Heights. This year your family can experience the magic yourselves and kick off your holiday season on November 15th.

Pop-up Shops

The day begins at 10:00 a.m. with pop-up shops in Heights Village. The shops feature talented local artists and small businesses. This year there will be over 25 amazing vendors. From jewelry and candles to woodworking and cooking essentials, you can find unique gifts for everyone on your Christmas list.

Heights Express

The “Heights Express” Trolleys will run from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. During this time, your family can enjoy all of the festive fun at six different stops throughout Cahaba Heights. The trolleys allow you to park once and then enjoy the afternoon. They really are the easiest way to travel among the stops. You can begin at any stop and go at your own pace. You can even skip a stop or two, but I promise you won’t want to!

Free Festive and Fun Activities

Free activities will be at every stop and include inflatables, a train, photos with Santa, a mechanical bull, crafts for kids, face painting, live music, and so much more! While your children are having fun outside, stop in the amazing local stores to buy Christmas gifts for everyone on your list. Give yourself the night off from cooking and enjoy a delicious dinner at one of the many restaurants in the area.
