18th Annual Memorial Day Ceremony

The public is invited to attend this moving ceremony to remember and honor the men and women who gave their lives in military service to a grateful nation. The ceremony will include a flyover; patriotic music by Rob Robinson; National Anthem by Anthony Smith, Alabama Veterans Affairs Commissioner, General Jeff Newton, as speaker; ceremonial service wreaths laying by ALNC family members; a rifle salute by the Sons of the American Revolution Honor Guard; TAPS; a cannon salute; and more. Prestley Skelton, a student at Jasper High School and this year’s winner of the Alabama State American Legion Oratorical Contest will serve as emcee.
