Alabama Gymnastics Fashion Show: Crimson Couture
Join Alabama Gymnastics for the debut of Crimson Couture, a first-of-its-kind runway experience celebrating the intersection of fashion, artistry and athleticism. For one night, Coleman Coliseum will trade the competition mats for the runway as the women of Alabama step into the spotlight in a whole new way.
Through three distinct acts, guests will experience the personal style of our student-athletes, explore the evolution of gymnastics fashion and discover how every detail – from a classic silhouette to the placement of a rhinestone – helps tell the story of Alabama Gymnastics.
Blending fashion, beauty, entertainment and Crimson Tide tradition, Crimson Couture offers a unique opportunity to experience the program beyond competition while supporting the young women who represent it.
Schedule of Events
6 p.m. | Doors Open and Social Hour
Arrive early, take in the atmosphere and enjoy the excitement leading up to the show with red carpet photo opportunities, exclusive giveaways and refreshments. Connect with fellow guests and prepare for an evening unlike a traditional Alabama Gymnastics event.
7 p.m. | Crimson Couture Runway Show Begins
Introduction – Setting the Stage
Act I: The Lifestyle Edit
Our student-athletes trade their competition leotards for fashion-forward looks that reflect their individual personalities and styles. The Lifestyle Edit introduces guests to the athletes in a way they don’t typically see on meet day.
Act II: The Leotard Edit
The Leotard Edit explores the evolution of gymnastics through fashion, highlighting how leotard designs have transformed over time while remaining one of the most recognizable elements of the sport. This act celebrates the craftsmanship and creativity behind what our athletes wear during competition, allowing guests to appreciate gymnastics from a completely different perspective.
Act III: The Finale
The evening culminates with a special runway finale that brings together high-fashion inspiration and the unmistakable identity of Alabama Gymnastics. Featuring a couture-inspired statement look, the finale celebrates the artistry, elegance and creativity that make gymnastics unlike any other sport.
