Alabama State Fair

The Alabama State Fair is a large family-friendly festival running from Sept. 18 to 27 at the Birmingham Race Course at 1000 John Rogers Drive in Birmingham. The event focuses on providing a safe environment featuring classic fair food, spectacular adult carnival rides and dedicated kiddie rides. Guests can experience main attractions such as helicopter rides, a Tails of the Tropics petting zoo, an exhibit titled A Grizzly Experience and performances by Sky High Skyler. The schedule also includes the Rastelli Circus, which is an animal-free show with Italian roots highlighting jugglers, acrobats, comedians and aerialists.
