Group Therapy for Women Navigating Infertility

If you’re somewhere in infertility or fertility treatment, you already know how heavy it can feel to carry so much. You are not failing at this. You were never meant to do it alone.

This summer, Anna Mills Fleenor, LMSW, is leading The In-Between : a therapy group at Empower Counseling for women navigating infertility and fertility treatment.

It’s the same small circle for all ten weeks. No one new joins partway through – so you can stop translating your experience and simply be in it, alongside women who already understand. Up to 52% of women navigating infertility experience anxiety and depression (Kiani et al., 2021), and isolation is the deepest driver. Carrying it alone is the part group therapy changes.

The Details

• 10 Weekly sessions, 90 minutes each

• Tuesdays 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM, beginning July 21

• In person, in Birmingham

• $750 total, private pay, paid in 2 installments

• Seats are limited; the group closes once it begins
