Gretchen is a native of Bowling Green, Kentucky, and has lived in the Birmingham area since 2015. Gretchen is a stay at home mom to two boys and serves on the Board for Postpartum Support International of Alabama since 2019. In the summer of 2020, she and her husband created thesheamom.com blog to raise awareness about Black maternal mental health. Gretchen and her husband married in 2014 and met at Mississippi State University.
