Summer Passes

1. Alabama Adventure and Splash Adventure

Alabama Adventure and Splash Adventure offer an amazing amusement park and an unbelievable water park right in Birmingham’s back yard. Season Passes are a great way to get unlimited visits to Alabama Adventure and Splash Adventure all summer long. A Season Pass includes unlimited park visits, free soft drinks, free parking, free tubes, free life jackets, and free shows. There are also discounts on in-park purchases and Birmingham Zoo tickets. Cost: Early bird special summer passes are $99.99 for ages 3 and up. Children 2 and under are free. Regular price is $139.99.

2. Lucky Strike 

Lucky Strike bowling alley offers two different summer passes. With the Basic Pass, you can enjoy free shoe rental and two games of bowling every day in the summer. A Premium Pass includes benefits of the basic package, plus $5 arcade card reload per day and 15% off food and non-alcoholic beverages. You can purchase passes in store or online. Passes are valid for one location only from May 13- September 1.

3. Chuck E. Cheese 

The Chuck E. Cheese Fun Pass allows you to play games daily. There are three different Fun Pass levels, and each level has a certain number of games to play at each visit. Each level offers food and drink discounts, extra games discount, play pass cards for up to 6 family members, and surprise bonus gifts. Fun Passes are valid through September 7 at all locations in North America, and we have two locations right here in Birmingham!

4. Let’s Play 

Let’s Play has two locations nearby, in Hoover and on Highway 280. Both offer huge play structures that will wow your kids and keep them busy for hours. At Let’s Play, Play Passes save on the price per visit and can be used all year.

5. SkyZone

SkyZone is a trampoline park complete with dodgeball and basketball courts for your sports lovers and a tight rope walk, high swing, zip line, and silks for your acrobats. With a Sky Zone Summer Membership, you will receive two hours daily jumping, 20% discount at the FuelZone, and access to exclusive member-only events and the member check-in lane. Summer Memberships are valid through August 31.

6. Topgolf

If you have kids who love Topgolf, they will be singing your praises all summer long if you purchase a Topgolf Summer Fun Pass. Passholders get up to 2 hours of play for themselves plus up to 5 friends at every visit! There are opportunities for unlimited game play Monday through Friday from opening to 5:00 PM and Saturday and Sunday from opening to noon and 5:00 PM until closing. Bays are available for walk-in players, or you can add your group to the waitlist in advance through the Topgolf app. Your golfer will also receive 10% of food, non-alcoholic drinks, and retail. The pass is valid through September 7. Some locations are excluded.

7. Urban Air

At Urban Air trampoline park, your kids can bounce and flip for hours. They will love the huge play structure, ninja course, and dodgeball court. The Urban Air Summer Pass gives your children unlimited park visits all summer long and is valid for 90 days after purchase. You must purchase by June 4. Be aware that after 90 days, the pass automatically continues as a monthly membership, unless you cancel the membership.

8. WildWater Cullman

WildWater is North Alabama’s newest water park and features a Wave Pool, 10 Thrill Rides, a Kid’s Splash Area with 8 slides, and a Drift River. Season Passes include unlimited admission during the 2026 season and free parking.

1. Birmingham Zoo

If your family loves animals, then the Birmingham Zoo will be a favorite all year long. Zoo Members have unlimited daytime visits throughout the year. 4. Life Time Fitness

Life Time Fitness isn’t just a gym with a wide variety of fitness classes. This fitness center also offers a resort-style pool, as well as an indoor pool and lap pool, basketball and tennis courts, sauna, and childcare that your kids will actually enjoy. 5. McWane Science Center

At the McWane Science Center, your children will learn, explore and play throughout the four levels of fun that McWane offers. Movie lovers can become a part of the movie in the IMAX theater. This membership lasts all year long and is just right for days that are too hot, too cold, or too rainy. 6. YMCA

There are many things to enjoy with your family at the YMCA of Greater Birmingham. Members can enjoy access to several programs and offerings including indoor and outdoor pools, exercise classes, swim team, after school childcare, summer camps, personal training, and more! One membership allows you to visit seven different locations. Financial assistance based on need is available for memberships and programs.

Maurine was born and raised in Montgomery, but now calls the Cahaba Heights region of Vestavia Hills home. She met her husband, Jacob, while attending medical school at the University of South Alabama. She then completed an Ob Gyn residency in Gainesville, FL before returning to Birmingham.
