Five Favorite Seasonal Items at Trader Joe’s :: Fall Edition

0

Trader Joe's FallOctober is here and so is pumpkin spice EVERYTHING. I’ll be honest– I’m here for it. I’m your typical lover of all the fall things. At the same time, there are so many items marketed specifically for fall these days that it can be a little overwhelming. My favorite place to shop for seasonal items is, hands-down, Trader Joe’s. They have a great variety and put a lot of creativity into their products. I love anticipating the return of my favorite items each year and trying out the new stuff, too! So, without further ado, here are my five favorite seasonal items currently available at Trader Joe’s!

1. Fall Harvest Salsa

Okay, hear me out on this one. I know a salsa with pumpkin, apple, and butternut squash may seem weird, but, Y’ALL, it’s delicious! I used it to make slow-cooker chicken tacos and loved the slightly sweet and unique flavor it gave the chicken. It would also pair really nicely with Trader Joe’s pumpkin tortilla chips. I will say that it definitely has a little kick when you eat it by itself!

2. Harvest Blend Herbal Tea

This one is an annual favorite. It’s spicy, fruity, and so comforting on a chilly night. I’m not typically a tea drinker, but this one delivers big on flavor, and it’s caffeine free.

3. Cinnamon Roll Blondie Bar

I absolutely love this baking mix. It takes a little more time to pull together than most boxed desserts, but the results are worth it. The bars come out moist and buttery, and they taste like you made them from scratch. They reminded me of the cinnamon bread at DollyWood, which is really saying something!

4. Pumpkin Spice Granola Bark

I love a snack that kind of feels like dessert, and this granola bark definitely fits the bill. It’s crunchy, flavorful, and covered in a thin layer of dark chocolate. I like breaking it up and topping my yogurt with it or simply eating a piece as a healthier dessert.

5. Maple Roasted Almonds

Trader Joe’s consistently offers a great variety of nuts, and the maple roasted almonds do not disappoint. Maple can be a strong flavor, but these offer balanced sweetness, delicious flavor, and a satisfying crunch. I love eating them right out of the bag or using them as a fun topping on yogurt or salad.

Whether you love the fall craze or think this whole pumpkin spice thing has gotten out of hand, Trader Joe’s is bound to have something for you. Check out all the seasonal offerings here!
