A Birmingham Mom’s Ultimate Guide to February

0

Welcome to February — that short little month when our minds begin to hope for spring. This February, we may still be impacted by a global pandemic, but you can find opportunities to get out and explore what Birmingham has to offer. Be sure to check out local institutions like the Birmingham Zoo and Birmingham Botanical Gardens for programming, as well as local venues like Iron City and the Hoover Public Library for big name and local artists (Birmingham’s own Walker Hayes and Rachel Hawkins come to town this month!).

UAB’s Callahan Eye Hospital in downtown Birmingham has served our region with excellence for the past 50 years. Callahan is the gold standard for eye care in our state, but did you know you don’t have to travel to downtown to receive their top-notch care? With staff ready to treat both children and adults, you can make plans for your whole family. Same-day appointments are available, and walk-in patients are accepted. UAB Callahan Eye Hospital & Clinics has 15 locations.
