Panda Express :: A Great Family Meal Out

This post is brought to you by Panda Express but as always opinions are my own.

My family loves Asian cuisine, so we were thrilled that Panda Express has now opened several locations in and around Birmingham. Panda Express is a great place for delicious, healthy, and affordable options my entire family loves. The Highway 280 location is located close to FedEx, past Target and across 280 from Chuck E. Cheese.

There are TONS of menu options! Panda Express offers premium proteins, hand-crafted sauces, and fresh chopped vegetables prepared by skilled chefs using powerful woks. They have healthy meal options that include quality ingredients, fresh veggies, at least 8g of protein, and contain 300 calories or less.

Mushroom Chicken . . . yum!

My family enjoyed the Orange Chicken, Fried Rice, the new Sichuan Hot Chicken, and Mushroom Chicken. The Sichuan Hot Chicken is a new menu option and will only be available for a limited time. It introduces guests to Sichuan peppercorns, and its unique, tingly spice will leave you wanting more!

Orange Chicken, Chow Mein Noodles, and the *new* Sichuan Chicken. That’s a lot of food!

And how cute are these kids’ meals?!? They come in a perfect box that separates rice from entree — ideal for both picky eaters and for taking home leftovers!

The kids meals are so cute. The box separates the side from the entree, and it even comes with a cookie!

Summer is hectic, and I love finding a place that has healthy, affordable options that my kids love and that won’t hurt my diet. I also love that Panda Express has online ordering and a drive-thru . . . perfect for quick, easy dinners on-the-go! I’m excited about Panda Express growing in Birmingham, and I know my family will be back.

Born at St. Vincents, Julie has lived in Birmingham nearly all her life, and she looks forward to meeting and connecting moms all over our community. Before having kids and co-founding Birmingham Mom Collective, she worked various jobs as a retail manager, merchandise manager, software support associate, and an HR recruiter. When she's not taking care of her two young children, you can find her (sometimes) working out, singing and fellowshipping at her church, playing golf (horribly), drinking sweet tea, and taking trips with her husband, Nathan. She loves all things coffee, Gilmore Girls, Disney World, Dolly Parton, and peanut m&ms!
