Here’s your chance to grow your reach, share your story, and connect with the Birmingham community in a meaningful way!

The Birmingham Mom Collective Video Content Team is expanding, and we’re looking for creative moms who love making reels about motherhood, local life, and the best places to explore in Birmingham. If you’re already creating content—and you’re ready to get your work in front of thousands more moms who are eager to connect and be inspired—we’d love to invite you to join our growing team.

When you join us, your reels will have the opportunity to be featured on our Instagram page (20K+ followers) and Facebook page (15K+ followers)—that’s over 35,000 moms you can reach through our platform!

This is a volunteer role with all the fun perks of being a BMC contributor, plus the chance to collaborate with an amazing group of reel makers who share diverse perspectives on motherhood in Birmingham.

We aim to include moms in all stages of the journey. We love hearing from moms of young children, moms of older children, moms of adult children, married moms, single moms, moms who have fostered or adopted, moms of multiples, special needs moms, and women who long to become mothers but might be battling infertility. Our goal is to grow our diverse group of contributors and video content creators with women who want to connect with other moms in Birmingham and the surrounding areas.

Interested in becoming a BMC Video Content Creator? Here’s what you need to know!

What you GIVE . . .

• Your passion for moms, kids, and the Birmingham area.
• Reliability, team spirit, and your own unique, fun perspective.
• One original reel per month, due on the 15th, that fits Birmingham Mom Collective’s brand and mission. These reels will be shared on both our Instagram and Facebook platforms.
• An active social media presence—you’ll engage with the BMC community by liking, sharing, and commenting on our posts.
• A willingness to show up for Birmingham Mom Collective events and contributor gatherings—they’re designed to be fun and community-building!
• A seven-month commitment, beginning August 2025.
• A total of 6 reels during your term.

What you GET . . .

• For YOUR reels to be posted on our Instagram page that currently holds over 20K followers and on our Facebook page that currently has 15K+ followers, your name will be mentioned in the caption, or you can ask for the Instagram reel to be a Collaborative reel.
• New friendships and connections with local Birmingham moms who love creating, too!
• The opportunity to be tagged as a collaborator on your reels and tagged in stories on our social platforms.
• Your photo and bio on the BMC team page with links to your business, personal blog, and/or social media handles if you choose to share them.
• Access to our private contributor team Facebook group.
• The opportunity to test out products and/or services for review as they become available to BMC.
• The opportunity to enjoy contributor events at different businesses around town.
• The opportunity to participate in contributor giveaway contests with fun prizes.
• Plenty of fun, connection, and creative inspiration!
