  1. Baba Java‘s fan favorite Lemon Icebox Latte is back! This drink is a surprisingly perfect combination of lemon, white chocolate, and their locally roasted espresso. It’s available hot, iced, or shaken, but you should get the shaken one. Trust me.
  2. Cala Coffee‘s Cala-Cola is summer nostalgia in a cup. Cold Brew coffee, cola, and cherry-hibiscus cold foam together is like an adult version of the cherry cola many of us loved in childhood.
  3. Daysol Coffee Lab‘s Summer Thyme latte is a true summertime treat. This latte with a mix of strawberry and thyme is a fruity, herb-y, perfectly-balanced beverage.
  4. Domestique Coffee‘s PB&J latte might be the most unique drink on this list. This latte has House made peanut butter and blueberry syrup. If you want to feel like a kid again, but also get your caffeine in, this one is for you!
  5. June Coffee‘s June Boba is THE fusion drink of the season. Espresso, milk, Japanese brown sugar syrup, and tapioca pearls are topped with cream in this Asian-inspired latte.
  6. Prevail Coffee‘s Grapefruit Espresso Tonic may sound odd, but hear me out. Espresso, tonic water, and grapefruit really do work together to make the most refreshing, and interesting, beverage!
  7. Santos Coffee‘s Coconut Vanilla Shaken Espresso a must-try! This espresso, shaken with both coconut and vanilla is a great summer afternoon indulgence. Small joys are everything!
  8. Seeds Coffee‘s Banana Guard Coffee is iced coffee topped with banana cold foam. What’s not to love about this combo, especially during this time of year?

So BMC readers, which drink are you most excited about this season?

I currently live in the Oak Mountain area, but originally I’m from a small, one-redlight town in North Alabama. I attended Auburn University where I met my husband, a Birmingham native, and married him a couple of months after getting my Bachelors degree in 2011. Although I studied PreMed/Microbiology, I have never actually worked in the field. Instead, I have had many random jobs from seamstress to private English tutor while helping my husband through seminary. Now I have my dream job of being a stay-at-home-mom to my three daughters; E is 9, M is 7, and C is 1.5. Although my original dream of living overseas full-time isn’t likely to happen anytime soon, I am still involved in the internationals’ ministry at my church. When I’m not busy with my girls or church, you can find me cooking, listening to music or podcasts, reading, or drinking coffee while doing any of the above.
