Everywhere I turn, I find advice. How to eat, exercise, raise my kids, dress, decorate my house, and the list goes on! Don’t get me wrong, I am grateful for the resources and inspiration social media offers, but I’ve learned to be choosy about who I follow. Fellow moms who enjoy good food and fashion, get excited about a deal, and don’t act like they have it all together are my jam. My favorite content creators check all the boxes. They are relatable, helpful, encouraging, and fun! As an added bonus, they live right here in Birmingham! Here are the 6 Birmingham content creators I’m loving.

1. Family Savvy
As the name suggests, Family Savvy aims to provide practical tips and ideas to help women live a “savvier” life. She shares recipes, beauty tips, style ideas, favorite products, and more! She also hosts The SavvyCast Podcast, where she engages in conversations about family, faith, relationships, health, and a host of other topics. I love Jamie’s down-to-earth approach and her desire to help and encourage other women.
2. Healthy by Heather Brown
With faith at the center, Healthy by Heather Brown helps women pursue wellness physically and spiritually. Her tips and product recs provide practical ways to stay healthy as a busy mom, while her perspective and personal experiences offer encouragement and positivity. Heather also hosts The Healthy by Heather Brown Show and recently wrote a book, The Sunday Reset, which comes out in January.
3. Rachel Awtrey
Oozing with joy and vulnerability, Rachel Awtrey feels like a best friend who is cheering you on through life’s highs and lows. Her real-life advice covers relationships, body image, parenting, faith, personal growth, and more. She hosts the Real Talk with Rachel Awtrey podcast and has a book out, Love Your Life (Even If You Don’t Like It All the Time).
4 The Peachie Spoon
I began following The Peachie Spoon on Instagram when I was newly postpartum and constantly hungry from breastfeeding. Her protein-forward recipes helped me learn how to eat in a way that truly fueled my body. Several years later, I continue to turn to her as a source for no-nonsense, nutritious recipes. Her honesty, humor, and balanced approach to food and wellness make her both relatable and refreshing. Above all, I’m FOREVER grateful for her flourless protein brownie recipe that has truly changed my life.
5. The Southern Source
The Southern Source is my go-to for all things related to home decor. As someone who doesn’t really enjoy decorating or do it very well, I need all the help I can get! Her style tips and budget-friendly recs make my life SO much easier. While I rely on her home ideas the most, I also love her fashion finds, recipes, and hosting tips.
6. The Triple Threat Mom
Affordable fashion with a side of real life… yes, please! The Triple Threat Mom specializes in sharing affordable, flattering looks for moms who want to look stylish and put-together without spending a fortune. As an added bonus, she shares a lot of real-life content and daily happenings with her family. A former show choir teacher, Ashlyn’s energy and charisma make for a really enjoyable and entertaining account!
