Game Day Timeline for Auburn Football
You will want to plan for some fun before the game and head down early to enjoy all of the fun festivities Auburn University has to offer on gameday. Here is the schedule of gameday for Auburn football…
* 8 am… parking lots open and shuttle service begins
*4 hours before game time… Coca Cola Fan Fest on the Nichols Center Lawn
* 2 hours and 30 minutes before game time… Tiger Walk, watch the players and coaches enter Jordan-Hare Stadium
* 2 hours before game time… Stadium gates open
* 1 hour and 30 minutes before game time… Auburn Spirit March and Four Corners Pep Rally
* 20 minutes before kickoff… Eagle Flight inside the stadium
Parking
There are lots of parking options when heading to Auburn for a football game, including paid and free options, on and off-campus parking, and parking with a Tiger Transit shuttle option.
On Campus Parking
Reserved parking is available in a variety of locations on game day. Some popular options include IM Fieldhouse Lot, South Quad Deck, and the South Intramural Grass Lot. Prices start at $20 and availability will vary by game. All parking can be purchased here.
Off Campus Parking
During Auburn home football games, Tiger Transit runs special routes. Buses run for four hours prior to kickoff for all games. Service for any 11 a.m. game will begin at 8 a.m. Buses will run intermittently throughout the game and for two hours post-game to return fans to their stops.
Off-campus park and ride opportunities include Duck Samford Park, City of Auburn Softball Complex, Auburn Mall, and Tigertown in Opekika.
Kid To-Do’s
There are 2 activities we recommend for all kids (of all ages!) before the game time: Coca Cola Fan Fest and the Tiger Walk.
The Fan Fest is a free pregame entertainment area with inflatable games, photo opportunities, music and more. Located on the Nichols Center lawn, this is a great spot to meet up with friends and let the kids enjoy all the fun interactives.
The Tiger Walk takes place down Donahue Drive 2.5 hours before kickoff. Watch the players and coaches walk into the stadium. Fans start lining the streets early, so plan ahead to find a good spot to see the action. Take photos and videos and cheer when you see your favorite players!
Tailgating
Home Plate Tailgate is located in the Plainsman Park Parking Lot. The space is free of charge and open to the public as a tailgating destination close to the action of Jordan-Hare Stadium. Home Plate Tailgate will open four hours prior to kickoff and features TVs for live college football game viewing and tailgate games. Once in the area, fans will have access to restrooms and tents for shade. Food and drinks are available for purchase.

Bag Policy at Jordan-Hare Stadium
The Jordan-Hare Stadium bag policy is as follows…
Approved bags:
- Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12″ x 6″ x 12″.
- Seat cushion with or without a back.
- One-gallon clear plastic freezer bags (Ziploc bags or similar).
- Small “clutch” purses or wallets, no larger than 4 1/2″ x 6 1/2″, with or without a handle or strap can be taken into the stadium in addition to the approved clear plastic bags.
- Exceptions will only be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection by security personnel. Please ask for assistance at the gate.
Non-Approved bags:
- Purses that are larger than 4 1/2″ x 6 1/2″
- Diaper bags (only permissible if they are clear and do not exceed 12″ x 6″ x 12″)
- Cases (camera, binocular, etc.)
- Backpacks
- Duffle bags
- Large totes
- Tinted or patterned clear bags

Private Nursing Stations, called Tiger Babies, are located near the following public seating areas:

Food
There are several food options and restaurants around the stadium if you’re looking for a meal or snack before the game. Toomer’s Drugs is the must-visit iconic spot for lemonade, ice cream, or milkshakes.
If you want to eat at some of the most well-known, iconic restaurants in Auburn before arriving at your final parking spot before the game, try Hey Day Market, The Hound, Niffers, or Acre.
Tickets
Season tickets for the 2026 season are sold out. There are limited single game tickets and 4-packs with parking available for purchase on the official ticket website. Auburn University also partners with SeatGeek for secondary-market ticket options so be sure to check all of the options to find the best tickets for your game of choice.
